Wouldn't know about your issue, but in my case I finally got it to work properly.

You can use SmartSet. I have tried the xorg. Once the calibration is done, there should be no need to load elodev in the future. eli
I've made this [quick and ugly] script to calibrate "Elo TouchSystems Inc. Hope this helps anyone as clumsy as me! Favux, thanks, but touchcal is not my case: In order to calibrate, you must load elodev if it is not already loaded.

If when calibrating you get the error message: JavaScript seems to be disabled in your browser. I have video, I can rotate the monitor via display settings, I even get drag and touch events working.
